The Adagio Dance Companies had their first performance of the season at Clarendon Day, and we got some great pictures!
The Ballet Company performed a mixed repertoire, combining some old favorites with a few new pieces.
“My favorite piece that we’re doing this year is ‘Les Sylphides’ because I get to dance with a large group and we have a lot of fun.”– Rachel, Ballet Company member
“My favorite is the opening part of our class demonstration because you have to be artistic and set the tone for the whole performance.”– Erin, Ballet Company Soloist
The Jazz/Contemporary Company had an all new rep with their first ever lyrical number, and the soloists performed a new piece as well.
“(Lyrical) is very different, but it’s also fun because we’re learning new styles of choreography.”– Kiara, Jazz/Contemporary Company member
The Jr. Company entertained the audience members with their adorable Beatrix Potter numbers, and had a great time doing it!
Keep an eye out for more information on the next Adagio Dance Company performances and be sure to come see us!
