Adagio Ballet produces three theatrical performances each year at a local theater, in addition to performances in Adagio Ballet’s Black Box theater space.

Youth Program Winter Showings

Holiday-themed music and costumes, in an intimate and festive performance setting

30 minute showings presenting 5-6 classes at a time
Held at Adagio's Black Box Space in December
Eligible participants: Youth Program Beginner through Teen Levels in Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Tap

Free event- No participation fee, tickets, or costume purchase required
Registration required for choreography and costume planning

Adagio Dance Company

The Adagio Dance Company (ADC), made up of students in the Intensive Program, presents an annual showcase performance and performs in community festivals and events throughout the region. ADC provides students with the opportunity to develop artistic expression and passion through performance. These dedicated company members cultivate skills that will serve them in their educational and professional pursuits while offering the local community exposure to dance and our talented young artists.

Adagio in the Community

Through Adagio Ballet’s community outreach initiatives and events, we aim to expose children and adults alike to the beauty of dance, instill a love for the arts, and inspire creativity and hope. Adagio Ballet is proud to be in the North Arlington community and we are compelled to give back through free and low-cost performances, National Dance Week free activities, and through support for our local organizations and schools. For the broader Northern Virginia region, our student company, ADC, performs in festivals and the professional company- in-residence, Company Danzante offers student rates for their local performances.
